Isaac Christie-Davies has left a heartfelt goodbye on Instagram after leaving Liverpool yesterday.
Christie-Davies played for two years at Liverpool after joining them from Chelsea back in 2018, but has now chosen to join Barnsley as the next step in his career.
The youngster actually made one senior appearance for Liverpool in the EFL Cup, and was also a regular in their development squads.
But the 22-year-old appears to have decided that the time has come for him to go out and get first-team action.
Christie-Davies is joining a Barnsley side, who will be looking to push on in the Championship last season.
The Tykes dramatically avoided relegation last term, after making excellent progress under Gerhard Struber.
Christie-Davies will be used to a high pressing approach having been training with Liverpool for so long, and that should stand him in good stead at Oakwell, with Struber also demanding that his sides play with a high energy style.
