Some Scotland fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney on Friday evening.
Arsenal defender Tierney was in action for Scotland in their UEFA Nations League Group B2 game against Israel at Hampden Park in Glasgow.
The 23-year-old started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it ended in a 1-1 draw.
Ryan Christie put Scotland in the lead from the penalty spot on the stroke of half time, but the visiting team restored parity on 73 minutes through Eran Zahavi.
The former Celtic star is a left-back by trade, but for Scotland against Israel on Friday evening, the Arsenal youngster was deployed on the left of a back-three.
Tierney gave a good account of himself in that position, and he also rotated with Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson going forward and was a handful for the Israel defence.
According to WhoScored, the 23-year-old took one shot which was not on target, had a pass accuracy of 83.9%, took 101 touches, attempted one dribble, and made one interception and five clearances.
Some Scotland fans have given their take on the display produced by Tierney on Friday evening.
