The agent of Newcastle United and Crystal Palace target Moussa Marega says contact has been made with English clubs over a move this summer, A Bola report.
Marega has attracted interest after leading Porto’s scoring charts in recent times.
The Mali international has scored 45 goals in 87 league appearances over the past few seasons, helping Porto win the title and feature in the Champions League.

But with his contract expiring next summer, Marega represents an opportunity.
A Bola claim Newcastle, Crystal Palace and West Ham all want him. Meanwhile, his agent told the Portuguese publication he has been contacted by English clubs.
“At 29, Moussa is no longer old enough to have dreams. Playing in the Premier League, more than an illusion, is an objective, as it will be for most footballers. Yes, it is true that I have been contacted by several English clubs. If a business arises that allows FC Porto to earn good money with the transfer, that would be perfect and would make Moussa very happy, because what he liked most was to repay FC Porto for the investment made by the club in so many years of contract,” Aziz Ben Aissa explained.
Moussa Marega’s Premier League ambition:
A recent report from A Bola claimed Marega isn’t interested in renewing with Porto. He wants to move to the Premier League and is willing to wait to go for free.
Porto, however, would surely prefer to cash in on him this summer.
Newcastle will be looking to bolster their striker options ahead of the new season. Big-money signing Joelinton managed just two league goals last term.
The Magpies can’t afford another tame season in-front of goal.
Palace, however, are arguably in even greater need for a regular goal scorer after the Eagles finished second bottom in the scoring charts last season.

Roy Hodgson’s side finished comfortably away from the drop zone. But their success was built on a solid defence, and cracks appeared following project re-start.
Marega, standing at 6ft 1inch, is a battering ram up top. He is physically imposing and importantly boasts a track record of finding the net.
