Some Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Albian Ajeti’s goal for the club on Saturday evening.

Celtic have got the better of Dundee United 1-0 away from home at Tannadice Park in the Scottish Premiership.

Ajeti did not start the match, but the former West Ham United striker came on as a substitute in the 74th minute.

The Switzerland international scored in the 83rd minute to help the Glasgow giants to a 1-0 win.

It was Ajeti’s debut for the Hoops, and it was a memorable one for him, as Neil Lennon’s side returned to league action on a positive note.

Some Celtic fans were pleased with Ajeti, and so was ex-Hoops and West Ham striker Frank McAvennie, as shown below.

Meanwhile, Chris Sutton and Charlie Adam have given their take on Celtic’s reported interest in Shane Duffy.

According to The Sun, Celtic are interested in signing the central defender from Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer transfer window.

Former Celtic striker Sutton believes that Duffy would be a good signing for the Hoops, but ex-Rangers midfielder Adam believes that it would be a waste of money for the Glasgow giants.

Sutton said on the Scottish Football Extra show on BT Sport: “I think that would be a really good piece of business if Celtic can get that over the line

“At first when the rumours came out, I thought that can’t be possible. But the longer this goes, I’m hearing there may be a possibility of him coming in.”
