Ismaila Sarr has told Sans Limite in Senegal that he knows all about Liverpool’s interest in him.

The Harrow Times have reported how Liverpool are keen to snap up Sarr this summer, who could be made available following Watford’s relegation.

And it seems that Sarr has been told by agents that Liverpool are keen to sign him.

“Every day, like everyone else, I receive information like what I’m going to play for Liverpool, Manchester United… But really, for the moment, we have not yet discussed it internally,” the £40 million winger (Sky) said.

“I admit that there are other agents who talk to me about proposals from important teams, but for the moment, I remain quiet in my corner.”

Sarr actually stated that he will not force a move to Liverpool, despite Watford’s relegation to the Championship.

However, it seems that he would be keen on a move to Anfield, if the two clubs could agree a fee.

“Liverpool are a really great team, everyone would love to play there,” he added. “They won the Premier League this year and the Champions League last year.”

Sarr could be an appealing addition to Liverpool’s squad if he was to make the move, as he looks to be a player with boundless potential.

Even though Watford were relegated, the lightening quick attacker still managed to catch the eye during his first season in English football.

Sarr actually scored a brace against Liverpool in Watford’s 3-0 win over Jurgen Klopp’s side, so the Reds know all about how dangerous he can be.

At the age of 22, Sarr still has a lot of developing to do – but his arrival at Liverpool would make them a much bigger threat.

The Reds already have one of the most fearsome attacking trios in the Premier League, but Sarr would make a seriously dangerous impact sub, if he was to arrive at Anfield.
