A remastered current-gen version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 was announced towards the beginning of the Summer Games Fest 2020. It has a release date of September 4th, but – if you’re particularly eager – you can play the game as early as tomorrow. Some outlets have already begun playing the game early, and some such as Polygon have described the Warehouse early access as everything they wanted it to be. The game certainly sounds as though it’ll be a fantastic throwback thanks to amped visuals and improved gameplay, but there’s also the soundtrack which has been buffed with both original and new songs.

How to get the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater demo

You get the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 demo on PS4 and Xbox One by pre-ordering a digital version of the game.

This means that you must pre-order from the PSN or Xbox store to get the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater remastered demo on PS4 or Xbox One.

Once you have pre-ordered the game digitally, you will be able to play the Warehouse part of the game early on August 14th at 08:00 PT, 11:00 ET, and 16:00 BST.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 pre-order options

There are two options when pre-ordering Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2.

You can pre-order the Standard version for £39.99 (on PS4) and this will simply reward you with access to the Warehouse demo.

Meanwhile, there’s also a Digital Deluxe version which costs £49.99. This includes access to the demo plus the following:

  • ‘The Ripper’ character from Powell-Peralta
  • 80s-era outfits for Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, and Rodney Mullen
  • Unique retro content for the Create-A-Skater mode – boards, clothes, shoes, and gear

Remember that you will get early access to the game regardless of which digital version you pre-order.
