Fans replaced Kylie Jenner’s WAP cameo with actress Viola Davis and the internet is losing its mind over it. This was Cardi B’s response to the parody.
In response to this, fan-made parodies began popping up online, with Viola Davis pasted into WAP instead of Kylie. The 55-year-old Academy Award-winning actress shared two of these parodies on her Twitter account.
The infamous Viola Davis WAP cameo
The first image was of Davis’ face photoshopped onto Kylie Jenner’s body followed by the caption “who did this?” and three healtfelt emojis. This post was retweeted by Megan Thee Stallion, who collaborated with Cardi on the video.
The picture was then shared by more than 71,000 people.
The next parody was a video of the actress getting spied on by Cardi and Megan as they peek around the door. The scene then cuts to How to Get Away with Murder, where Viola Davis’ character, Annalise Keating, is shown drinking and dancing.
Davis captioned this one with the flamenco emoji followed by the hashtag #HowToGetAwayWithWAP a play on her hit series How to Get Away with Murder.
How did Cardi B react?
Cardi B retweeted this video and added: “I’m so fan out right now ya don’t even know.” Cardi B is known to be a huge fan of Viola Davis and was clearly taken aback at her involvement in the fun surrounding WAP.
Cardi B received over 82,000 likes on her reply and although she defended Kylie Jenner’s involvement in the music video it seems Viola Davis might be lined up for her next song!
Kylie Jenner is yet to comment on the criticism. Instead, she has posted behind the scenes images to her Instagram. When Cardi B hit back at the haters she tweeted that she wanted Kylie in the video and she deserved to be in it.
Tweeting: ‘Why did I put Kylie on my music video? She treated my sister and daughter so lovely at her kid bday party. Travis [Scott] and Set [Offset] are real close and Kris Jenner have giving me advice on certain things I ask for and her husband real cool with mine.’
