Arsenal striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has been promised that Mikel Arteta will be able to make additions this summer which will enable the side to compete for a top four place again, according to the Telegraph.

Arsenal have now missed out on the Champions League for four years in a row, but they have still been able to convince Aubameyang to stay.

The Gabonese striker is now said to be on the verge of penning a new long-term contract at the Emirates Stadium, which is a huge boost to Arteta’s side.
