It has been reported that Celtic are interested in Taylor, who is a free agent at the moment following his departure from Charlton Athletic.
The Hoops are reportedly in talks with Steven Fletcher as well, with the Scotland international striker having left Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship in England this summer.
According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, Taylor scored 11 goals and provided one assist in 22 Championship matches for Charlton this past season.
During the 2018-19 campaign, the 30-year-old Montserrat international scored 22 goals and provided 13 assists in 44 League One matches for the Addicks during the 2018-19 campaign, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
Good signing for Celtic?
Described by Neal Ardley as “an outstanding player” who is “very flexible in terms of where he can play in the forward line” in The Nottingham Post in July 2020, with the Notts County manager worked with him at AFC Wimbledon, Taylor is a very good striker who would be a low-cost signing for the Hoops as he is a free agent.
The striker would give manager Neil Lennon a valuable option in the squad and would make his team stronger, as Celtic chase their 10th Scottish Premiership title in a row this season.
