Tottenham Hotspur will have to pay £72 million to land Porto winger Luis Diaz, according to DesPorto.
Tottenham are said to hold an interest in the Colombian attacker, but Porto are determined to keep hold of him at least for another year.
Diaz has been one of the Portuguese champion’s star players this term, and they will only sell if a club comes in with a bid which matches his £72 million release clause, with the latest update saying that his price-tag is now ‘non-negotiable’.
Tottenham are said to be interested in snapping up the 23-year-old in the report, but any chance of that happening has surely passed, given his exorbitant price-tag.
Jose Mourinho is set to be given a limited budget at Tottenham this summer, and it seems unlikely that the club will break their transfer record for the second year running now.
Diaz could have made an appealing addition for Tottenham if he was cheaper.
The tricky winger has looked very bright for Porto over the past season, and has scored 11 goals.
