Jake Paul has been at the centre of several controversies during his YouTube career, but this time it seems the social media star is in deeper trouble.

A video has been released by TMZ showing Jake’s house being searched by the FBI on Wednesday 5th August.

Fans want to know more about why the FBI were searching Jake’s house.

Why were the FBI at Jake Paul’s house?

TMZ reported: “There seems to have been at least 20 people or so on the ground executing the search warrant.”

The bureau said in a statement to L.A.’s ABC7: “The affidavit in support of the search warrant is sealed and we are, therefore, prohibited from commenting as to the nature of the investigation.”

They added that no arrests were planned.

Jake Paul under fire for party

This search comes just two weeks after Jake hosted a large party at his Calabasas home, despite rising Coronavirus cases.

The party made its way back to the Mayor of Calabasas, Alicia Weintraub, who was “outraged.”

Jake Paul told Insider: “No one has answers, our leadership is failing us, and everyone kind of just doesn’t know what to do. But I personally am not the type of person who’s gonna sit around and not live my life.”
