Why is Gina Carano being ‘cancelled’?
Gina came under fire after posting a picture on Twitter showing a collective Nazi Salute, where one man isn’t saluting.
Users began to criticise Gina’s decision to upload the picture, referring to her as a “bootlicker” and “racist”.
One wrote: “you literally couldve picked a better picture to show whatever u wanted to show that didnt have fricken n*zi’s on it.”
Another Twitter user claimed that the accounts harassing Gina were bot accounts. They said:
“Bot accounts harassing Gina Carano will post the same message within 1 minute of each other. Matching profiles with: “She/Her – BLM/ACAB” bios that change name & layout. Actual proof of someone using bots to bully a female Star Wars actress.”
Gina has also been accused of blocking BLM supporters. One user tweeted:
How did Gina Carano respond?
Gina uploaded a picture onto Twitter, which said: “I’m glad you stopped following me, it’s like the trash took itself out.”
She captioned it: “Dear trolls.. pssst.. (oh but make sure you keep checking in from all of your other 12 fake accounts). Cowards.”
One user replied, saying: “These aren’t trolls, these are people trying to educate you so you can get on the right side of history..”
Gina then responded with:
“In my experience, screaming at someone that they are a racist when they are indeed NOT a racist & any post and/or research you do will show you those exact facts. Then I’m sorry, these people are not “educators”.. they are cowards and bullies.”
