Celtic fans have urged Ivan Toney to come and join them after his latest tweet.

Toney was concentrating on the play off final last night, as another one of his potential suitors in Brentford (Daily Mail) were beaten by Fulham at Wembley.

But Celtic fans were quick to take his mind off the Championship promotion deciding clash.

Bhoys supporters inundated the £9 million striker (The Scottish Sun) with messages, as they encouraged him to move to Parkhead.

Toney blasted in 26 goals for Peterborough over the past campaign and is now regarded as one of the most dangerous attackers outside the Premier League in England.

If Toney was brought to Celtic there is a feeling that he could really strengthen Neil Lennon’s side up-front, especially with Odsonne Edouard’s future still not entirely certain.

Celtic do face a battle to land the powerful forward, with Brentford believed to be leading the race for him, according to the Daily Mail’s latest update.
