Ellen DeGeneres has faced a lot of criticism over allegedly having created a toxic culture behind the scenes of her show. Comedian Tim Dillon is the latest star to respond to the presenter’s apology.

Ellen Degeneres recently shared an apology to her colleagues following news reports over an alleged toxic work environment on her show.

According to Variety, a number of former employees have come forward with stories of alleged incidents of sexual misconduct and harassment.

The publication revealed Ellen’s original letter, in which she claimed she wasn’t able to “stay on top of everything” as the show rose to fame and expected her colleagues to “do their jobs as they knew I’d want them done.” Ellen added that she was “committed” to taking action and making the necessary changes.

However, comedian Tim Dillon, in his response to Ellen’s apology, didn’t have many nice things to say about the presenter.

Tim responds to the allegations from Ellen’s former employees

The comedian has addressed the allegations from Ellen’s former employees in a recent episode on The Tim Dillon Show.

“36 former employees independently corroborated incidents of sexual misconduct,” Tim claimed on the podcast. “36 employees at Ellen!”

Tim continued:

“And I’m not trying to make light of that. Although it is my job to, and also I am. But the point is I’m not making light of the sexual assault. I’m making light of the fact that while it’s going on, Ellen is bringing out sloths to make Kristen Bell giggle.”
