West Bromwich Albion are keen to sign free-agent forward Korede Adedoyin after he was released by new Premier League rivals Everton, according to AllNigeriaSoccer.
Despite scoring 26 goals in 52 games for the Toffees’ reserve sides, the highly-rated attacker with a one-in-two ratio now finds himself without a club.
Adedoyin was released from his contract last month, although it seems that he will not have to wait long before he is back in the game.
According to reports back in his native Nigeria, the 19-year-old has offers on the table not just from West Brom but also Championship duo Birmingham City and Sheffield Wednesday.
ANS adds that Adedoyin has recently been training with an unnamed second-tier club as he looks to keep up his fitness.
West Brom might just be the ideal destination for the one-time Hamilton Academical loanee.
Since Slaven Bilic took over at The Hawthorns, Grady Diangana, Dara O’Shea, Nathan Ferguson and Kyle Edwards have all played a key role in a promotion-winning campaign and Adedoyin would be right at home in a fresh-faced and attack-minded Baggies side.
