Vakoun Issouf Bayo could be set to leave Celtic after just a year and a half in Scotland with La Depeche reporting that he is closing in on a move to Toulouse.
The Hoops would have been hoping that a £2 million Ivorian would be the second coming of Odsonne Edouard when he moved to Scotland from Slovakian football in January.
But it’s fair to say Bayo has been more Amido Balde than Henrik Larsson in green and white, scoring just twice in 16 games and managing a grand total of one Scottish Premiership start across the entirety of the 2019/20 campaign.

Speculation has linked Bayo with a loan move to St Mirren but, according to reports across the Channel, Ligue 2 outfit Toulouse could be his destination instead.
The Violets finished bottom of the French top flight during a miserable campaign, winning just two of their 28 games to finish bottom on the table on a points-per-game basis.

The report does not make it clear how much Toulouse would be willing to pay.
But, with almost every club in France hit hard by a financial crisis, a recently relegated side are vert unlikely to hand Celtic their £2 million back.
Odsonne Edouard started the 2020/21 campaign with a ruthless hat-trick against Hamilton on Sunday while Patryk Klimala, another big-money January signing, made his mark on proceedings with a tidy finish late on.
Celtic have been linked with a host of strikers, including Peterborough United’s Ivan Toney and the Austrian Golden Boot winner Shon Weissman.
It remains to be seen whether they will enter the transfer market to replace Bayo.
