Torino will allow Salvatore Sirigu and Soualiho Meite to leave after the final day of the Serie A season this weekend with the reported Everton and Southampton target’s available for transfer, according to Calciomercato.

The Bulls might have secured their place in the Italian top flight for another season but, sitting just four points above the drop zone with a singe fixture remaining, it’s fair to say 2019/20 has not been a stellar campaign.

According to reports on the continent, a clear-out is on the cards.

One of the first names out the door could also be one of the biggest in Torino’s squad.

33-year-old goalkeeper Sirigu has conceded 64 goals in 36 league games across the last ten months and it seems that Sunday’s trip to fellow strugglers Bologna will be his final for the Turin-based outfit.

This comes amid claims from Calciomercato that Carlo Ancelotti has identified the 24-cap Italy international as the man to put some much-needed competition on Jordan ‘flappy fingers’ Pickford between the sticks at Goodison Park.

Meite, too, is up for sale.

Not so long ago, the Paris-born 26-year-old was one of the most impressive young midfielders in Italy, valued at a hefty £17 million.

And, while Meite is still courting interest from Crystal Palace and Southampton, according to Gazzetta dello Sport in May, a year in-and-out of the Torino starting XI should cast doubt on his ability to thrive on English soil.
