A new challenge is going viral on TikTok and it involves playing a pretty big trick on your children – what is the New Teacher Challenge?
It’s August now which means school’s out for summer! It’s the time that kids wait for all year, and the next month or so will be spent having fun in the sun, with school a distant memory.
But come September, it’ll be time to go back to school. Which means a new year and also a new teacher – which makes this time the perfect opportunity to play a hilarious prank on your little ones.
Here’s the New Teacher TikTok Challenge explained!
What is the New Teacher Challenge on TikTok?
A new challenge is going viral on TikTok called the New Teacher Challenge, and it’s pretty hilarious.
It involves tricking your children into believing that you have their new teacher on FaceTime.
First, you have to get a picture of their supposed new teacher up on your phone. Most people just go onto Google Images and find a photo of someone that looks a little strange.
Then, you call the child over, show them a photo of the new teacher on your phone and film their reaction.
The TikTok New Teacher Challenge is going viral
TikTok’s New Teacher Challenge is certainly one of the biggest trends of July.
The hashtag #NewTeacherChallenge has had 16 million views on TikTok, and people are talking about it on other social media platforms on too.
Some people are even taking to Twitter to reveal how hilarious they think the challenge is. One Twitter user said: “The new teacher challenge on TikTok is hilarious! the kids’ faces kill me.” Whilst another said: “The #NewTeacherChallenge on TikTok has me in TEARS. These parents are awful.”
Perhaps it is a little cruel playing such a bad prank on a child, but it’s also utterly hilarious seeing their reaction.
You could even reverse the challenge
If you have a child that’s slightly older, you could reverse the challenge and it would still work.
Instead of choosing an ugly, slightly strange-looking teacher, you could do the prank with a really good looking one.
If you have a teenage son or daughter, they could be getting pretty excited to go back to school in September now!
