Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has fired Arsenal to a 14th FA Cup title.

Mikel Arteta’s side came from a goal down to beat 10-man Chelsea 2-1 at Wembley this afternoon.

Aubameyang’s first-half penalty cancelled out Christian Pulisic’s early opener, before a wonderful dinked finish midway through the second half was enough for the Gunners to lift the trophy.

This is Arsenal’s fourth FA Cup title in six years and although much of the success is down to the Gabon international’s brilliance, Danny Murphy says he wasn’t the best player on the pitch.

Back in the engine room, Dani Ceballos, on loan from Real Madrid, had another stellar performance in midfield, shielding the back four out of possession, and providing the penetrative passes for the likes of Nicolas Pepe and Aubameyang in possession.

It was a complete performance from the Spaniard, and Murphy, speaking live on BBC’s coverage of the final, says he was his stand-out performer today.

Murphy said: “Dani Ceballos has been the best player on the pitch. It’s been a tremendous performance from him. Pierre-Emerick has put the magical finish in for them to probably win the game but progressively, Ceballos’ passing has been really, really good.”
