Jack Grealish is a player in demand, with Arsenal among the clubs linked with the Aston Villa star.

According to Sky Sports, Arsenal are among a number of clubs in the Premier League who want to sign Grealish from Villa in the summer transfer window.

The report has added that Villa, who narrowly escaped relegation to the Championship this season, want at least £80 million as transfer fee for the 24-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger.

Former Villa defender Stephen Warnock, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, has given his take on the future of Grealish, and has asked two pertinent questions on Twitter, as shown below.

Arsenal transfer this summer?

Grealish is one of the best attacking players in the Premier League not to play for a top-six club, and it is clear that he is good enough to turn out for a team who are fighting for trophies or for the European places.

The 24-year-old is unlikely to achieve that at Villa next season, but that could happen at Arsenal.

The Gunners could do with a player of Grealish’s quality and calibre, especially as Mesut Ozil is not playing regularly, and playing for the North London club could make the 24-year-old better and could enable him to raise his game even further.

Meanwhile, The Telegraph has claimed that Wilfried Zaha may have to rely on Crystal Palace letting him leave on loan with an obligation to buy if he wants to switch clubs this summer.

The Daily Mail reported this month of interest in the former Manchester United winger from Arsenal.
