Reported Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers target Facundo Pellistri should move on this summer and prove himself elsewhere, his agent Nico Rotundo has told OneFootball.
The manager of Uruguayan giants Penarol, a certain Diego Forlan no less, was under no illusions when asked about the future of his £10 million-rated wonderkid recently.
“I know he can leave at any time,” former Manchester United and Atletico hero Forlan told Sport890, adding that the winger’s departure would boost the coffers of a cash-strapped club.
Pellistri is certainly not short of offers either.
The Mail reported in May that the teen sensation has interest from Real Madrid, Manchester City and Newcastle, while Wolverhampton Wanderers apparently think he could be the second coming of Adama Traore at Molineux.
Calciomercato also stated that Arsenal are big fans of the so-called ‘new Paulo Dybala’.
And, after just 18 league appearances, there is a growing feeling that Pellistri has already outgrown the relatively small pond that is Uruguayan football.

“It is a good time to sell Pellistri,” agent Rotundo said.
“I think it is a good time for Pellistri to leave and continue improving as a player. The chances of (Penarol) selling Facundo are a 6/10.”
Rotundo did add that the Montevideo-born attacker is loving life at his hometown club, though the lure of Premier League football could be almost impossible to resist.
Speaking to El Observador at the start of June, the agent also claimed that reports linking Newcastle with Pellistri are absolutely on the money.
“Newcastle have spoken”, Rotundo explained. “There are offers and Uruguayan teams need to sell.”
