Wolverhampton Wanderers’ striker Rafa Mir could be set for a shock move to Atletico Madrid this summer, according to Marca.

With Raul Jimenez banging in the goals at a remarkable rate, breaking countless records along the way, the Molineux faithful could be forgiven for forgetting all about another Spanish-speaking forward who moved to the Midlands in 2018.

It is difficult to imagine now, given Mir hasn’t donned Old Gold since a 2-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest 28 months ago, that he was one of Europe’s most coveted youngsters when Wolves won the race for his signature.
