Liverpool are said to be interested in signing Watford’s Ismaila Sarr by the Daily Mail.

Watford may have been relegated this season, but Sarr has had a hugely impressive campaign for the Hornets.

Liverpool scouts have now reportedly taken a keen interest in the rapid attacker, after seeing how devastating he can be first-hand.

Sarr was in fine form against Liverpool this term, as he inspired Watford to a 3-0 win over Jurgen Klopp’s side back in February.

Watford would surely like to keep Sarr, but doing so following their relegation is likely to be impossible.

The 22-year-old scored five Premier League goals this season, and showed plenty of promise in his first year in England.

If he was to move to Liverpool he could be an ideal fit as cover for their current attackers.

The Reds rely on the blistering pace of their wide forwards, and Sarr certainly has the speed required to fit into Klopp’s system.
