Leeds United are finally back in the Premier League – and fans are understandably excited about their potential reinforcements.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side won the Championship title at a canter in the end, but that doesn’t mean that Leeds won’t be seeking additions.
In fact, it seems that Bielsa is already eyeing up potential signings having been spotted at a game on Sunday afternoon.
Bielsa was pictured at Goodison Park to watch Everton host Bournemouth, a game which the Cherries won 3-1.
It wasn’t enough for Eddie Howe’s men as they suffered relegation to the Championship, and that may present an opening for Leeds.
Bielsa may be eyeing up a Bournemouth player or two, with the idea of offering them immediate returns to the Premier League.
Leeds fans took to Twitter to suggest names of players that could be on Bielsa’s radar, and David Brooks was a hugely popular name.
The Welsh playmaker only recently returned from injury, but has shown his skill and creativity in the final third, whilst he can play as a number 10 or out wide.
He’s no stranger to Yorkshire having played for Sheffield United, and he is certainly too good to be playing in the Championship.
Leeds fans have been responding to the photo of Bielsa by admitting that they hope it’s Brooks he was watching, believing he would be a ‘good option’ in this Leeds side thanks to his versatility, with some urging the club to ‘get him in white’.
