Some Arsenal fans on Twitter are absolutely raving about Ismaila Sarr’s performance today.
The 22-year-old visited the Emirates Stadium as a Watford player this afternoon as both sides rounded off their Premier League campaign.
Sarr was reportedly on Arsenal’s radar last summer during Unai Emery’s reign – and he certainly showed the North London club what they were missing with a fine display.
The Senegal international, a £30 million signing by the Hornets last August, was causing problems on the wing during the first half.
Later on, he set up Danny Welbeck as the visitors made it 3-2, with the former Arsenal attacker tapping home from Sarr’s brilliant right-wing ball.
Overall, he was a big problem for Mikel Arteta’s side and at his age, he’s only going to get much better.

Some supporters obviously want him, and Arteta might be signing a new winger, but it isn’t Sarr.
If rumours are believed, Joelson Fernandes, a 17-year-old, may be heading to the Emirates Stadium this summer, but for £30 million you wonder if Emery and the club’s hierarchy missed a trick on Sarr last summer.
