Mikel Arteta has told Arsenal’s official website that both Mesut Ozil and Matteo Guendouzi are available for his side’s match against Watford this weekend.
Arsenal are expected to name a rotated line-up on Sunday when they take on Watford, with Arteta surely having one eye on the FA Cup final.
That could present Ozil and Guendouzi with a chance to break back into Arsenal’s squad.
The pair have both fallen out of Arteta’s plans in recent weeks, with doubts over their futures emerging.
But Arteta insists that he could call upon Ozil or Guendouzi this weekend, if he opts to involve them.
“The rest is true that Mustafi is injured and we need to assess a little bit how long he is out,” Arteta said.
“The other two [Ozil and Guendouzi] are available.”
Whether Arteta will choose to recall Ozil and Guendouzi now remains to be seen.
The Arsenal duo both appear to be heading for the exit door at the Emirates Stadium ahead of the summer transfer window.
Ozil has not played for Arsenal at all since the restart, while Guendouzi has fallen completely out of favour since an incident at Brighton & Hove Albion.
