Adam Levine has paid a poignant tribute to Kelly Preston who once starred in a Maroon 5 video.

This week, the world woke up to the sad news that Kelly Preston has died at the age of 57.

Kelly’s husband John Travolta revealed on Instagram that she had lost her life to a two-year battle with breast cancer, adding that his wife “fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many”.

Kelly has appeared in a number of movie and TV productions, including the films From Dusk Till Dawn, Jerry Maguire and The Cat in the Hat.

The lyrics of the song talk about Kelly’s character which says:

He wrote:

“My first pretend kiss…We will miss you Kelly. You’ll always hold a special place in my heart.”
