Yellowstone continues to grip fans on Paramount Network and in season 3, episode 4 some new faces in the cast took center stage.
Yellowstone first arrived on our screens in 2018 and in the years since has become one of the must-watch shows of the summer.
The Kevin Costner-starring drama, which airs weekly on Paramount Network, explores the constant struggle between Old Western ranching values and modern capitalist expansion and industrialisation and over the course of its two-and-a-half seasons so far, has proven to be essential viewing.
Not only does Yellowstone’s story get more and more gripping with each episode, the cast of actors in the series is among the best currently on our screens.
While Kevin Costner leads the way, a whole host of other cast members truly bring Yellowstone to life but just who stars in season 3, episode 4?
Yellowstone season 3 on Paramount Network
Season 3 of Yellowstone made its debut on Paramount Network in the US on June 21st, 2020, with episode 4 following suit on July 12th.
The new season continues the struggle of John Dutton and his family’s ranch as it comes under threat once again as property developers aim to build an airport nearby, followed by an entire city, bringing in tourists new residents to the increasingly hostile area.
Episode 4 follows on from the dramatic cliffhanger of episode 3, that left fans fearing for Jamie’s life after a terrifying rodeo accident.
We join the injured Jimmy as he recuperates from the accident, with girlfriend Mia for company, while the feud with developers over the prospect of building on the Dutton ranch continues and California bikers stir up even more trouble.

Key character spotlight
Taking centre-stage in episode 4 are the characters Mia, Governor Perry and Angela Blue Thunder.
Eden Brolin as Mia
Mia is a character we’ve only been introduced to in season 3 but she’s already made quite the impact, especially as she gets to spend a bit more time with Jimmy in episode 4.
Mia is played by Eden Brolin in Yellowstone and if her name sounds familiar, it’s because she’s the daughter of Hollywood A-lister, Josh Brolin.
Aside from Yellowstone, Eden’s biggest roles to date have come in the Freeform TV series Beyond, as well as the films Blood Bound and Arkansas.
Wendy Moniz-Grillo as Governor Perry
The 51-year-old actress has starred as Governor Lynelle Parry since season 1’s first episode, Daybreak.
Her role in Yellowstone continues to grow with her approaching Kayce in season 3 episode 4 in an effort to make him Livestock Commissioner.
Wendy Moniz-Grillo has been in a host of big-name TV productions since making her acting debut in 1995 including in the likes of Guiding Light, The Guardian and House of Cards among others.
Q’orianka Kilcher as Angela Blue Thunder
Angela Blue Thunder is another new character we meet in season 3.
Thomas Rainwater of the Painted Horse Casino brings in Angela for help after consulting with a lawyer over plans to save the casino and the land on which it sits.
Q’orianka Kilcher made her acting debut as an extra in 2000’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas and in the years since has appeared in the likes of The New World, Princess Ka’iulani and Shouting Secrets.
Yellowstone continues weekly on Sundays in the US on Paramount Network.
