Kieran Tierney clearly operates by a ‘go hard or go home’ policy at Arsenal.

The former Celtic star has looked a wonderful addition by the Gunners in recent weeks after what’s been a mixed first season in England following a £25 million move from Parkhead.

Tierney had endured an injury-hit season with Arsenal but is starting to look at the peak of his powers after finally gaining some momentum.

The 22-year-old is a popular figure among fans of the North London club, but he hasn’t always made the right impression in training, according to his team-mates.

ESPN reported on Friday that some of the Arsenal players have expressed their frustration at the intensity and physicality that Tierney brings to London Colney, but that head coach Mikel Arteta was a huge fan of his behind-the-scenes commitment.

These led to ‘awkward’ encounters between the Scot – who spent four years playing alongside the no-nonsense Scott Brown at Celtic – and other Gunners stars.

This right here is a perfect example of Tierney’s attitude – and suffice to say Arsenal fans absolutely love this report. Here’s how they reacted on Twitter:
