Rodney Marsh and some West Ham United fans have raved about Michail Antonio on Twitter for his performance against Norwich City this afternoon.
Antonio was the star of the show for West Ham, as David Moyes’s side hammered Norwich away from home in the Premier League.
The 30-year-old winger scored four goals at Carrow Road to enhance the London club’s chances of finishing above the bottom three.
The former Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest winger put West Ham in the lead in the 11th minute, added a second in first-half injury time, completed his hat-trick in the opening minutes of the second half, and made it 4-0 on 74 minutes.
According to WhoScored, the winger took nine shots of which six were on target and four ended in goal, played three key passes, had a pass accuracy of 75%, won five headers, took 44 touches, and put in one cross.
Former Fulham and Queens Park Rangers forward Marsh was following the match, and he was impressed with the display produced by Antonio, and believes that the winger has been the best player for the Hammers this season.
