Ubisoft Forward looks set to unveil a variety of exciting games that fans have been waiting to get a good look at. Many are hoping to see games including Far Cry 6, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, and Watch Dogs: Legion.

While there’s some speculation about a few of the surprises that are on the way, Ubisoft has been kind enough to provide advanced warning of many of the games that will be shown off.

Plus, to sweeten the deal, Ubisoft has of course promised viewers a free copy of Watch Dogs 2 – an enterprising way to get eyeballs on their glorified advert.

What games will Ubisoft Forward show off?

According to Ubisoft’s official statement, the games that will be shown off at Ubisoft Forward include: Trackmania, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, The Division 2, Just Dance 2020, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, Hyper Scape, Far Cry 6, and “a few other surprises”.

Some of these are hardly a surprise. Ubisoft has been eager to show off Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla in advance of its release date in time for Christmas this year. There’s a good chance we’ll be seeing a lot of this game during Ubisoft Forward, as it’ll be one of the closest to completion.

Far Cry 6 is one of the biggest draws on this list. While it’s no secret that the game is on its way, very few details have been officially released. Recent leaks regarding the game’s setting and main villain suggest that the title will be a return to the classic Far Cry formula, with an intrepid explorer rescuing a foreign land from a ruthless dictator.

“A few other surprises”

Perhaps the most intriguing, yet nebulous, of Ubisoft’s promised offerings is the hint that other “surprises” are on the way. This could be anything from a few smaller spin-offs to a brand new open world IP.

There’s no way of knowing until the show on Sunday. Here’s hoping that whatever games debut at Ubisoft Forward, they’re worth getting excited about.
