Liverpool supporters have been left disappointed after Jurgen Klopp broke the news that Jordan Henderson’s injury could be problematic after their victory over Brighton & Hove Albion.

Sky Sports claim that Henderson has already gone for a scan on a knee issue, which forced him off the pitch in Liverpool’s 3-1 win last night.

And Klopp’s injury update on Henderson did little to convince Liverpool supporters that their captain would be back any time soon.

“I don’t know what it is exactly but it looks like the knee. We will see. We will have to make scans but we know that it’s not nothing, so that’s already enough,” Klopp said.

Henderson’s injury issue is a blow to Liverpool, as they chase 100 points, and Liverpool fans are concerned about the update.

Henderson has been vital for the Reds this season, with his combative performances in midfield earning him plenty of plaudits.

Henderson actually scored a belter for Liverpool last night before injury struck, with the 30-year-old in fine form.

With such little time left in the campaign, Henderson may well have featured for Liverpool for the last time this term, unless he makes a very quick recovery.
