Leeds United fans don’t agree with Marcelo Bielsa’s decision to bring Stuart Dallas and Helder Costa back into his side’s starting line-up if they are fit against Stoke City tomorrow.

Bielsa suggested to Leeds Live that Dallas and Costa would start for Leeds tomorrow, at the expense of Barry Douglas and Gianni Alioski, if they come through training later today.

“Probably Dallas and Costa play,” Bielsa said.

“Today they trained normally. In case they are not able to play, Douglas and Alioski are going to play instead.”

Douglas and Alioski had both impressed in Leeds’ last game against Blackburn Rovers, which they won 3-1, though.

And Leeds supporters feel that dropping the pair would be extremely harsh from Bielsa.

The decision to bench Alioski would be particularly controversial from Bielsa, if he was to go through with it.

Alioski has unquestionably been in better form than Costa since the restart, but it seems that the Portuguese winger has the faith of Leeds’ manager.

Costa has just made his move to Leeds permanent, after signing a new long-term contract at Elland Road, which surely just increases his motivation to help the Whites get across the line this term.

Leeds are currently leading the way in the Championship table, but the closing pack are now breathing down their neck.
