A man called Daniel Maples raged at another shopper in Costco after they asked him to wear his mask.
Daniel’s response has come as a shock to many and the video has millions of views on social media now.
What happened in Costco?
Costco customer Daniel Maples has received backlash on social media after his rage was captured in a video.
In the clip, someone behind the camera asked Daniel to put his mask on, but what happened next was rather shocking.
Daniel started shouting: “I feel threatened. Back off! Threaten me again. Back the f**k off and put your f**k phone down.”
According to USA Today, the person behind the video is unknown but filmmaker Billy Corben obtained permission to share the clip on Twitter.
Who is Daniel Maples?
Daniel Maples is a former employee at Ted Todd Insurance.
The company has offices in different locations and offers a range of insurances, including home, auto, commercial and retirement ones.
After Daniel’s video in Costco went viral, Ted Todd Insurance issued this statement on Twitter:
“Thank you to everyone for their comments and messages raising awareness about a former employee at Ted Todd Insurance. Their behavior in the video is in direct conflict with our company values and their employment has been terminated.”
