Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has told Leeds Live that Stuart Dallas and Helder Costa will ‘probably’ play against Stoke City on Thursday.

Dallas and Costa both missed out on playing in Leeds last game against Blackburn Rovers, with Barry Douglas and Gianni Alioski coming in to replace them.

Leeds were impressive at Ewood Park, as they picked up a 3-1 win.

But Bielsa suggests that he will bring Dallas and Costa back into his starting line-up if they prove their fitness in training.

“Probably Dallas and Costa play,” Bielsa said.

“Today they trained normally. In case they are not able to play, Douglas and Alioski are going to play instead.”

The alterations could prove to be controversial with Leeds supporters.

Costa hasn’t been in as impressive form as Alioski since the restart, but Bielsa is always a manager to stick by his players.

If Leeds are able to beat Stoke on Thursday they will only further strengthen their position in the fight for promotion, with the Whites currently leading the way in the Championship table.
