According to The Times, Tottenham Hotspur head coach Jose Mourinho thinks that Norwich City right-back Max Aarons is too short and is not experienced enough.

It has been reported that Mourinho ‘has questions over his height of 5ft 10in, and his experience’.

In April, Soccer Link claimed of interest in Aarons from Premier League club Tottenham.

According to WhoScored, Aarons has provided one assist in 31 Premier League games for Norwich so far this season.

During the 2018-19 campaign, the right-back scored two goals and provided six assists in 41 Championship games for the Canaries, according to WhoScored.

Good signing for Tottenham Hotspur?

Aarons is a very good right-back who has done well in the Premier League this season.

Spurs could do with a new right-back, as Serge Aurier has not really been a huge success, and given that Aarons is only 20 years of age, he will be a good long-term signing for the North London outfit.

With Norwich likely to get relegated to the Championship at the end of the season, the Canaries could be willing to sell the right-back as well.

Meanwhile, Eric Dier has said that he is happy to be playing at centre-back, with the Tottenham star playing also capable of operating in midfield.

Football.London quotes Dier as saying: “I felt very good in the first two games (since the restart).

“Obviously we are very disappointed with the Sheffield result and the performance as a whole. I’m happy to prove myself there at the back.”
