Rhian Brewster has admitted to Sky Sports that he doesn’t know if he will be at Liverpool next season.

Liverpool loaned out Brewster to Swansea City in January, and he has seriously impressed out on loan in the Championship.

Brewster helped Swansea to pick up a draw with Millwall yesterday, with the youngster putting one on of the standout performances during the contest.

And when asked about his future by Sky Sports, during their live coverage, Brewster admitted that he wasn’t sure what Liverpool’s plans for him are.

“I just want to finish the season, and hopefully get promoted. That’s the aim,” the Liverpool Echo transcribe him as saying

“Who knows? I don’t know if I’ll be here next season, I don’t know if I’m going to be with Liverpool. I don’t know where I’m going to be next year, I just want to finish the season strongly and see what happens next season.”

Brewster may well be hoping that Jurgen Klopp sees room for him in Liverpool’s side next term, when his loan does expire.

Although Liverpool do have one of the most dangerous attacks in the Premier League, Brewster may just have room to make an impact.

Brewster could provide valuable cover for Liverpool’s current front three next term, alongside Divock Origi and Harvey Elliott.

The Welsh international has proven that he is ready for regular football, after scoring seven times in 14 appearances out on loan so far.
