Radio listeners woke up to a new station on June 29th as Times Radio, a radio channel from The Times newspaper, made its long-awaited debut on the airwaves.
The new station has been cited as an alternative to BBC Radio 4 but the Rupert Murdoch-funded outlet will undoubtedly take some time to win over listeners.
Times Radio secured a huge name for its first show as Boris Johnson gave his first in-depth interview since falling ill with Covid-19 back in April and subsequently returning to work.
