Call Of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare remains popular but Season 4 has seen an increase in and continuation of its issues with cheaters. Not only that, but fans have also been begging Infinity Ward to nerf the Grau but this hasn’t come to fruition as of yet. But, in some good news, it appears that the Grau is getting nerfed and here you’ll discover when it’ll probably happen.

Is the Grau getting nerfed?

Co-Design Director of multiplayer for Infinity Ward, Joe Cecot, has suggested that the Grau is getting nerfed for Call Of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare.

In responding to a tweet from a fan about why the Grau needs to be nerfed, Cecot suggests that it is getting tweaked for the mid-season update.

He officially says that a “bunch of weapons” will be tuned and it’s highly likely that the weapon in question will be one of them.

When is the Grau getting nerfed?

Infinity Ward’s Joe Cecot has implied that the Grau is getting nerfed with the mid-season update.

There’s no official date for when the Grau is getting nerfed via the mid-season update, but it could happen on July 7th or the Wednesday or Thursday afterwards.

As for why this date appears likely, it’s because Warzone and Modern Warfare’s Season 4 begun on June 10th with a deadline date of August 4th.

July 7th for the mid-season update isn’t confirmed, but early July is when it should be released with a possible nerf for the Grau.

Original story:

Season 4 for Call Of Duty Modern Warfare and Warzone launched yesterday after it was previously delayed due to happenings in the world. While plenty of gamers are happy with its eventual launch, there is confusion amongst the community about whether the Grau has been nerfed. And, although there’s confusion about whether or not it has been reduced, some fans are still asking for the weapon to be downgraded even more.

As if the file size of Call Of Duty Modern Warfare wasn’t extravagant enough, yesterday’s Season 4 update was another huge installation for obvious reasons. The Season 4 update came with a Captain Price skin, as well as new maps in Scrapyard, Trench, and Barakett Promenade.

However, while the above is good and all, lots of fans are unsure about whether the Grau has been nerfed.

Has the Grau been nerfed?

The Season 4 patch notes for Call Of Duty Warzone don’t announce that the Grau has been nerfed.

However, fans have speculated that the Grau has been slightly nerfed in Modern Warfare and Warzone.

Some gamers are under the impression that it deals slightly less damage whereas others still feel it is too OP.

For those who feel it is still over-powered, they argue that too many people use it in Warzone and that it “hits better than any sniper at range“.
