It’s been an eventful month for Pokémon fans. The Isle of Armor DLC for Sword and Shield was released, Pokémon Café is now available to play, and a new Pokémon Snap has been announced. Now, in addition to all of that, there is a shiny Zeraora available for Pokémon Sword and Shield players to get. Here you’ll discover how to claim it before it becomes unavailable.

While the release of Isle of Armor has been well received alongside a new Snap game for Nintendo Switch, yesterday there was some division amongst the community thanks to the announcement of Pokémon Unite. This announcement was so loathed amongst the online Pokémon community that the presentation has received over 150,000 dislikes on YouTube.

But, with that being an entirely other matter, below you’ll discover how to get shiny Zeraora in Sword and Shield before the offer ends.

How to get shiny Zeraora in Pokémon Sword and Shield

All you need to do to get shiny Zeraora is transfer a Pokémon from between HOME and Sword and Shield.

Once you do the above, you’ll then receive a shiny Zeraora in HOME which you can then transfer to Pokémon Sword and Shield.

You don’t need to have bought the Isle of Armor DLC or defeated the Max Raid equivalent battle in order to get this prize.

All that was required for the Pokémon community to get shiny Zeraora was one million players defeating a Dynamax version of said mythical Pokémon. This has been achieved by the game’s community and you don’t need to do anything yourself in-game if you weren’t one of the million players.

Know that you will need to deposit a Pokémon in HOME or transfer one to Sword and Shield before July 6th at 16:59 PT.

Provided you do that, you’ll then be able to claim your shiny Zeraora from the Pokémon Home Mystery Gifts menu.
