Mounir Chouiar has been warned off a potential move to Aston Villa with Dijon president Olivier Delcourt claiming that the winger risks squandering his considerable talents on the bench, speaking to L’Equipe.
There is no reason to believe, however, that a jinking winger with an eye for goal would find himself collecting dust on the sidelines at Villa Park.

And a player who has drawn comparisons with a young Riyad Mahrez due to his penchant for cutting inside and whipping pinpoint shots into the far corner could potentially be the man to fill Jack Grealish’s boots with Villa’s Captain Fantastic expected to depart in the summer.

Chouiar has also been linked with Crystal Palace and Watford, via LeFoot.
And with Palace once again expecting a summer of speculation surrounding star man and gossip column regular Wilf Zaha, there could soon be a place that needs filling on the left-hand side of Roy Hodgson’s attack.
