There’s nothing like the feeling of a live concert with your pals, listening and singing along to your favourite artists.

That’s something that has been taken away from music enthusiasts this year due to Coronavirus restrictions.

Luckily, drive-in concerts are a thing now.

Dizzee Rascal gave an interview to Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain earlier this week and talked about the summer drive-in gigs he is scheduled to perform throughout the summer in the UK.

“Most people listen to music in their cars anyway. You can still get out of your car as well, as long as you stay inside your square. It’s going to be a proper concert. I’m going to be putting 110% to my performance.”

These drive-in concerts are taking place across 12 venues in the UK this summer: London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester and more. The London venue will have capacity for around 300 cars.

Dizzee Rascal revealed that he is releasing his 7th album in the next few months and he will be performing his new album as well as his all-time classic songs at summer drive-in gigs.

Other acts set to take part are Kaiser Chiefs, The Streets, Sigala, The Zutons and many more.
