Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce has told the club’s official website that Aston Villa duo Jack Grealish and John McGinn are ‘very good players’.
Bruce, who used to manage Villa, will be in charge of his Newcastle side tonight when they take on his former club.
Newcastle go into the game as favourites, with Villa currently fighting against the drop.

But Bruce has warned that Villa do still have some qualities players to worry about.
“Every team in the Premier League have got good players and Aston Villa have got some very good players, particularly (Jack) Grealish and McGinn to name two, so we’ll have to be at our best to beat them – but we’re confident,” Bruce said.

“You can see people bouncing into the training ground this morning and yesterday.”
Newcastle were in fine form in their first game back after the restart.
The Magpies picked up a 3-0 win over Sheffield United and put in arguably their finest performance of the season in doing so.
Villa, meanwhile, have found it tough going since returning and have taken just one point from their two games.
