Bubba Wallace recently made headlines after a noose was found in the racer’s garage stall.
Bubba is only 26 years old and for his age he’s already reached several milestones in his career.
In 2008, he became the youngest car racing driver to win at Franklin County Speedway in Virginia.
Most recently, he finished second during Daytona in 2018 and in the same year he joined the ‘Power 100’ list of Ebony Magazine, alongside the likes of tennis player Venus Williams and Barack and Michelle Obama.
Following the news about the noose which was found in his garage stall, Bubba shared a message on Twitter where he reminisced one of his mother’s motivational phrases.

Bubba’s parents are Darrell Wallace Sr. and Desiree Wallace.
His father Darrell is the owner of Wallace Industrial – an industrial cleaning company which he set up back in 1999.

Bubba’s mother Desiree works as a social worker and was a former track racer at the University of Tennessee.
Bubba’s parents have always been supportive
Darrell and Desiree have always been supportive of Bubba’s professional career as a car racer. In fact, Darrell was Bubba’s first sponsor in motorsport.
Following the recent news about the noose, Bubba paid a special tribute to his mother on social media.
Referring to the accident, Bubba said it was a “despicable act of racism and hatred” and tweeted:
“As my mother told me today, ‘They are just trying to scare you.’ This will not break me, I will not give in nor will I back down. I will continue to proudly stand for what I believe in.”
