Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno suffered quite a bad injury on Saturday.
The Gunners lost 2-1 away to Brighton & Hove Albion yesterday afternoon but the game was overshadowed by an incident involving their £22 million goalkeeper.
In what looked like a routine collection of the ball, Brighton striker Neal Maupay – who scored a last-minute winner – bumped into Leno while he was in mid-air and the German ultimately left the field on a stretcher.
More time is needed to determine the severity of the problem, but it looks like a bad one.

They had already been linked to a goalkeeper this summer – Southampton’s Fraser Forster – but if the Germany international is out for a while, it increases the urgency to sign somebody else.
