Wheeler Dealers star Ant Anstead suffered an arm injury and viewers at home are concerned whether he has already recovered.

Presenter Ant Anstead is a well-known face from several automotive series on the telly. He rose to fame after launching his own series The World’s Most Expensive Cars.

Ant is also well-known for presenting Channel 4’s For the Love of Cars with Philip Glenister. In 2017, he moved to co-host on Wheeler Dealers and he now presents his own series Ant Anstead Master Mechanic.

The motor specialist suffered an arm injury and viewers are worried about what happened to the presenter, as well as whether he’s recovered.

What happened to Ant Anstead’s arm?

In an episode on Ant Anstead Master Mechanic, Ant revealed that he suffered an arm injury after playing football.

Talking on the show, he said:

“I had my arms out defending the ball, waiting for it to come. And then all of a sudden, the defender kind of ran in the back of me and hit my arm and I heard a crack.”

He added: “And I thought, ‘All my gosh, I’ve broken my arm’.”

Ant had surgery in June last year and in an Instagram post he opened up about his recovery a few days after the medical procedure.

He wrote: “Chicks dig scars right. Need to remember it’s only day 6 since surgery! Healing takes time!”

Following Ant’s surgery, his followers took to the comment section in his Instagram post to wish him a speedy recovery.

Some fans shared their own stories with injuries in the past and revealed they’ve had a similar surgery to the one Ant had.

Based on Ant’s latest social media posts, he no longer wears an arm brace so he must have recovered from the surgery.
