Arena Napoli have claimed today that Liverpool’s Marko Grujic has been offered to the Naples based club.

The report claims that the Serbian’s agent, Fali Ramadani, has been looking for a new club for his client. He has offered Grujic to Napoli, Lazio and AC Milan according to the report and a move looks likely.

The 24-year-old joined Liverpool in January 2016 but he has constantly been loaned out. Grujic has played just 14 times for the Reds’ first-team over the years and it doesn’t seem like he will have a part to play next season either.

The former Red Star man has been on loan at Hertha Berlin since the summer of 2018. He has been an integral part of the Bundesliga side but his next destination will reportedly be Italy.

Liverpool are hoping to receive around £22 million but the report says that the Reds will likely agree a transfer fee between £13.5 million and £17.7 million this summer.

Liverpool will aid Everton’s Allan pursuit if they sell Grujic to Napoli

The Reds selling Grujic to Napoli will, in a way, help Everton get Allan this summer, something that Toffees fans will let their counterparts know if it happens.

It will be a shame to see Grujic leave Liverpool without getting a good run under Jurgen Klopp. The Serbian, still only 24, has the qualities to become a top player in the future but constant loan moves make no sense for him either.

A move away for Grujic might just be the best option for both parties this summer. A move to Napoli where he will get regular game time is brilliant for him while a fee of around £17 million gives Liverpool a good profit considering they only signed him for £5.1 million. (BBC)
