A Silent Hill chapter starring Pyramid Head and Cheryl Mason was announced for Dead By Daylight awhile back and a launch trailer has been released. The DLC’s release date has now arrived meaning fans will soon be able to experience the newest Silent Hill experience since Kojima’s P.T., but lots of people are in the unknown about what time Pyramid Head will come out in Dead By Daylight.
Although it wasn’t announced at last week’s PS5 reveal event like some had expected and many had hoped, there is reportedly a Silent Hill reboot in development. Not much else has been reported about this supposed reboot other than it being a PlayStation 5 exclusive.
While a new game (reboot or not) is massively anticipated, for now the most we’ll be able to enjoy sooner rather than later is a nostalgic throwback via Dead By Daylight.
Dead By Daylight Silent Hill chapter release date
The release date for the Silent Hill chapter in Dead By Daylight is June 16th.
As for what the Silent Hill chapter provides, a new map, survivor, and monster will all be added to Dead By Daylight.
Behaviour’s blog post for the DLC announcement briefly talks about the Midwich Elementary School map:
“Midwich Elementary School is the scene of unspeakable horrors. Any sense of the innocence that once marked these halls is gone. In its place: stained walls, rusted chains, hanging cadavers and a sense that things have gone horribly wrong.”
As for Cheryl (formerly known as Heather), she has freed herself from the religious cult meanwhile Pyramid Head “is a sadistic and merciless killer fixated on dispensing punishment through pain”.
What time does Pyramid Head come out DBD?
No official release time has been shared for when Pyramid Head will come out in Dead By Daylight.
However, judging by educated estimates on Twitter, it’s possible that Pyramid Head will come out in Dead By Daylight at 11:00 ET.
If this happens to be the case, then the chapter will also arrive at 08:00 PT and 16:00 BST.
The above estimation is based off launch times for prior DLC chapters but again it’s not confirmed by Behaviour.
