But if you want to be a real TikToker, it’s gonna take a bit more than that.

TikTok is no longer just a place where you make videos. It’s a community, with different groups and subcultures that you can be a part of.

To show that you’re a real TikTok fanatic you’re going to need to create a Shawty Pass – but what exactly is it, and how do you make one?

What is a TikTok Shawty Pass?

Lots of people on TikTok are making something called a Shawty Pass.

It’s like a sort of passport or identity card that you make yourself in order to be a part of the TikTok community.

It usually features a photo of yourself as well as your name, date of birth, height and hair colour. But you can include any facts that you want really.

How to make a TikTok Shawty Pass

The easiest way to make a Shawty Pass is by donwloading an editing app on your smartphone – there are loads of different ones to choose from.

First, you need a background, either choose one on an app or upload your own photo.

Then, add a photo of yourself and insert some text, listing your name and various features about yourself.

The last thing you need to do to be a real TikToker is add your Shawty level. Most people choose to write ‘Max Shawty’.

You can either keep it as a virtual Shawty Pass, or print it out to make it look like a real ID card!

Some people on TikTok have made actually started making professional Shawty Passes!

TikTok users are creating proper ID cards, even printing them out and laminating them for all their friends.
