Frank Lebouf has suggested to ESPN FC that Adrien Rabiot would only join Everton for the money.
Tutto Sport have claimed that Everton are leading the race to sign the Juventus midfielder.
The Toffees supposedly want to land the Frenchman, with Carlo Ancelotti looking to strengthen his midfield options.
Rabiot would be an eye catching signing for Everton if they were able to land him.
But Lebouf would question Rabiot’s motivation behind a move to Goodison Park.

“Sorry for the Everton fans but I think there are two reasons he would want to go there – one for Ancelotti because he knows him, he had him at Paris Saint-Germain,” Leboeuf said.
“And the second reason would be for the money, for the huge money that the Toffees would give him.
“Everton has to grow up as a club, not in England but around Europe, get into the Champions League to attract big, big players.
“But football-wise – Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, Everton. I’m sorry.”
If Everton are to sign Rabiot it is claimed by Calcio Mercato that he would cost £25 million.
He would surely arrive at Everton as a potential starter in Ancelotti’s midfield.
Everton are expected to invest heavily in the summer again, as they look to mount a push for Europe next term.
